The AutoSilent does not automatically silence it! I think the app is crashing because if I kill the app and start it again then the app works but then it suddenly stops working within a day or two. I have 5S and the most recent iOS version.

The software drains the battery and you have no control over what features are on or off. I personally did not want to use the silence by location feature but the app requires it to be on. Wish I could get my money back

Thus far I have no complaints. I set a geofence around work and it silences and unsilences when I leave and enter the area. Really great and had I know this existed no would have bought it long ago. Well worth the $3.00. Be nice if it was updated interface a bit for iOS 7/8.

This is the app I have been waiting for for a long time.The latest version fixes all the problems I had with the earlier version. The battery life is acceptable. Both the calendar and location triggers work flawlessly. As a general rule, I do not have to even think about this app 99% of the time. It simply works. Since the GPS is not perfectly accurate, you will get better results setting the radius of sensitivity a little larger than you would normally do. Caviat: my phone use is light. If you are a heavy user, its possible that you will have problems with the battery running down before the day is out. Keep a charger handy.

It does drain the battery some on my 5S, but I get a full days use of the phone. Beside that, I love the app. Its always on my phone. I dont have to think about muting as it does it automatically for every appointment or location where I want my phone silent. Sometimes I forget to use the "!ring" function, and my phone doesnt ring when I wish it did. But, thats minor. I wouldnt be without this app. I dont think theres another app like it.

I loved the app at first--no phone ringing during meetings and you dont have to remember to turn the phone back on afterward. Unfortunately, if I change or delete an event from my calendar, it doesnt change in the app. Now my phone goes silent when I dont want it to, and rings when it shouldnt.

One of my biggest pet peeves about the iPhone is that there is no way to silence notifications while you are on a call. It’s really quite annoying to have the phone buzzing and beeping in my ear while I’m on the phone. I purchased this app to stop that nonsense. However, it uses GPS constantly, so the battery drains. I assume this is in order for the application to continuously run in the background. However, it makes the app useless.

Ive been searching the App Store for this ever since I switched to the iPhone 6 plus. Theres a wonderful app on another platform that can mute my phone according to my schedule. It also mutes my device overnight to an evening schedule I set up. Thats all I wanted, and AUTOSILENT does this ALMOST perfectly. The ALMOST? I dont use and dont want the location feature. But AUTOSILENT insists on having the location feature enabled. Lately, the app has stopped releasing the GPS locator, resulting in fast battery drain. So yes, I had to unload it and my battery issues are now resolved.

Does the job. I think that it would be easier to use if the author would make it simpler, but the flexibility that it supports is really good. I have, and do, recommend this app!

i permitted your app to view my calendars and created a custom calendar. I then checked the option "Calendar Services" in your app and picked the calendar aptly titled "No Ring". and created a schedule and further tested. I did everything correctly for it to be silent but i refuse to have to enable GPS because thats useless to me. Can you please make this work with a custom calendar ONLY?

I use this to silence my phone firing meetings, which often works but isnt reliable. I think overlapping meetings and turning your phone on silent manually can mess up this function.

Loved the application and it does exactly what I need, but battery drain related to using full-blown GPS kills the battery in no time. I am really not interested in location services, only for the calendar silencing one. I switched to “Push Notification” - it is slightly better, but does not solve the problem. Interestingly, I have other applications with location services always on, did not experience such effect. Hope the further updates will improve power consumption. Otherwise, highly recommended.

I use the location based features of the app and they work great. I have programmed places where I dont want the phone to ring: Church, movies, etc. Works great, but unlike other apps that use gps this one seems to drain my battery very quickly. It is always among the high users in my battery statistics. Fix the battery - 5 stars!!!!
