I was looking for something like this for a long time. Works great. I really like it.

This app is awesome until recently my company ditched the native iOS calendar app and started using Microsoft outlook app for exchange calendar. How can I have AutoSilent recognize that calendar? Please help!!!

I personally did not find this hard to work with. It was easy to set up and muted phone as advertised. Great for meetings and church!

App has great potential. I like the schedule and location silence features. Multiple calendars do not work well the app does not remember what calendars you are following and seems to change these on the fly while the app is running, that needs to be fixed.

The app does what I want: when I am at a particular location at a particular time, my phone is silent. My phone is automatically silent Sunday morning if (and only if) I am at church. The timer is also extremely useful - it tell the phone to be silent for a specified period of time and then returns to normal -- no more forgetting to turn alerts back on. Also, customer support is excellent. They get back to you quickly and are helpful.

I use the gps for work and church and the schedule setting at night. With the recent calendar fix this app is amazing.

It does the majority of what I want it to do, but has room for improvement. My biggest gripe is that all of my custom settings vanish with each new update. Its really frustrating to have to reestablish my map settings and other preferences. Its also a little weird that I have to create two settings in order to silence things overnight. In other words, it wont let me activate it from 10 pm to 8 am. I have to create an entry for 10-midnight, and another for midnight to 8. I wish the app offered a little more flexibility. I mainly want to use it to keep my phone & iPad quiet overnight so theyre not chirping at me if someone takes a late night turn in Words With Friends, etc. It would be nice if I could keep the phones ringer activated at the same time, though, in case someone needed to reach me urgently at a late/early hour (without having to call 3 times). It would just be nice to add some extra flexibility into the rules like that to allow for better customization. My old Droid gave me some fantastic options like that.

This app is exactly what I was looking for. It has a built in scheduler that will silence ipad during all my classes and it also supports importing events from the default calendar. This is perfect for my seemingly sporadic schedule as I will never need to worry about my ipad ringing in class. The app was definitely worth the money!

An app for smart people to be perfect. works. This app has saved much embarrassment. I use to have my cell phone go off at the worst times. Yes, you must turn location services on under Privacy > Loc Services, even if you only use the calendar app, but support is instant and perfect. Keeps getting better. Now has push tech to reduce battery life. Tips: Make appointments "available," not "busy" in Apple calendar app, unless you want phone to switch to silent during your calendar event. Itll switch back to ringer mode when your event is over. It also has a timer in case you want a custom time to silent for awhile. Turn on "background refresh" under General settings for this app, and launch it and dont close it in the background after you turn your phone on. It will remind you to open app. And before giving a bad review, send your log file and email your problems to the developers. My response time was 3 minutes, and fixed problem. They also take feature requests. Cheap investment for career-risking embarassments/cringe-worthy ringers.

I write most of the time because there was on time when I first set it up with my calendar that it freaked out in my ethics class. Its worked fine ever since then, and now I dont turn my volume off or even lower it when in class.

Crippling bug alert! Setting a location config with no calendar event silencing only works temporarily. I think the prefs get deleted after soft reset. Ive seen it several times and it makes this app useless until fixed. :-/

Way too often it doesnt turn in when I am in office or turn off when I leave

This is something Apple should already have included in their IOS. Do not disturb does not allow multiple setups. The app does work for the most part. Pros: Easy to setup. App is visually well done. Cons: Uses battery life way to much because location services must be turned on (even if all you want to do is use the manual date/time option). Sometimes the phone does not vibrate when receiving a call. The app must always be open (in background) in order to work so its too easy to accidentally close. The app also does not auto start when the phone reboots. Not really worth the three bucks. I uninstalled it after using it for just a few days.

Requires Push Notifications to be on and Location Services to be on and continues pop-up windows to remind-warnyou if you dont (and wants access to your Contacts and Calendar but you can say no). I dont want that level of functionality from the app but I dont have a choice. Asking for a refund.

This is an overall good product. You can set the app to auto silent for a certain time period everyday or you can sync it with your calendar to auto-silent during meetings. One problem that I have noticed is that the app will automatically come out auto silent mode depending on the WI-FI connection. This is just an annoyance for me not a deal breaker as most of the time i use this app Im within wi-fi range. Overall good product if you have trouble remembering to toggle the hard switch back to ring mode like I do.

This is a rare app that dies all that advertises. Even though I do not use my calendar for business meetings the schedule and location tasks work great every time. No more excuses for not getting a call because my phone is still on vibrate and I missed it

I havent found a way to keep it from draining the battery (iPhone 5, iOS7). And I think its silly to require location to be on when youre only using the calendar or schedule features. I dont feel like I got much for my $, but I needed an app like this & it gets the job done. Update: keeps wiping out my settings without any way for me to know it happened, until my phone rings in a meeting! Worse than useless. Drains the battery, and location services are on even when Ive completely closed the app. Deleting it, want my money back.

This app not only did not work AT ALL, it also caused my phone to totally freeze up. I had to delete it. Don’t buy it. You’ll be sorry.
